During 2017/2018 I undertook a year long project kayaking and stand up paddle boarding the main rivers in Suffolk, collecting and recording litter with a specific focus on plastic bottles.  These finds were plotted in an attempt to discover any patterns, trends or hotspots and raise awareness of the impact of plastic pollution.

The tidal sections of these rives are approximately 50 miles in total, however over the year I paddling a lot more than that!

I was very pleased with the funds I was able to raise for Surfers Against Sewage and even happier with the publicity and awareness we were able to raise during the project.

I would like to thank everyone who supported the project or sponsored me.
